Description
Jérôme DINET is a Professor of Psychology at the University of Lorraine (Université de Lorraine, UL) and has served as the University's AI Officer ("Chargé de mission IA") since February 2025.
He is also the Co-Director of the BEHAVIOUR Industrial Chair, dedicated to the study of human factors and non-technical skills involved in occupational safety and health, and the Co-Director of the HUMAIN Industrial Chair, which focuses on modelling interactions between humans and robots.
Regardless of the context, the individuals involved or the activity under consideration, his work places human behaviour and the underlying cognitive mechanisms at its core, with a particular focus on highly degraded situations and cognitive biases. His activities consistently combine fundamental and applied research to address societal challenges and contribute to the public good.
