The future of healthcare is not simply about connecting more devices or generating more data. It is about developing a trusted ecosystem in which high-quality sensing, secure connectivity, responsible data management, and scientific research work together to generate better knowledge and ultimately better patient care.
The discussion will follow the journey:
Sensor → Connectivity → Data → Research & Clinical Insight → Better Patient Outcomes
It will bring together a hospital leader, a sensor technology company, an EHDS/data expert, and neurodegenerative disease researchers. Each will address a critical part of the value chain: how hospitals can use private 5G and digital infrastructure, how sensors generate reliable health data, how that data can be governed and shared responsibly, and how researchers can translate longitudinal data into better understanding of diseases such as Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s.
The roundtable will focus on the practical requirements for connected healthcare, including interoperability, security, data governance, clinical relevance, and collaboration across sectors.
The core message is that better healthcare will not come from technology or data alone, but from creating a trusted, connected ecosystem that turns high-quality data into meaningful clinical and research outcomes.
