Description

USIL Therapeutics is a Luxembourg-based biopharmaceutical company developing the first whole-body medical countermeasures against the health effects of ionizing radiation. Potassium iodide protects the thyroid, and approved treatments address the haematopoietic sub-syndrome in a clinical setting. Our programme targets multi-organ systemic injury after whole-body exposure, in two formats: UT-241, an intramuscular autoinjector for administration at the point of exposure, and UT-242, an intravenous formulation for hospital care. Both are designed for civilian and military use, a dual-use profile that supports national stockpiling. Supported by a EUR 5.22 million EU4Health grant with the STEP Sovereignty Seal and CEA as consortium partner. Developed and manufactured in Europe.
