Pillqare is a French healthtech startup combining a pill organizer, a mobile app and artificial intelligence to support medication routines. Our mission is to make everyday life easier for patients and alert their loved ones when a dose is missed.
The project was born from a personal experience: my father, who lived with diabetes, experienced a medication error. This inspired me to address a fundamental question: how can we help patients manage their medication at home while reassuring the people who care for them?
Our innovation centres on a capsule shared by two complementary products: one capsule holds one scheduled dose, with room for up to ten medications.
Patients can use these capsules in our pill organizer, paired with an app that sends reminders and lets them confirm each dose. For additional support, the same capsules can be loaded into our connected dispenser, currently under development, designed to release the scheduled dose at the right time and block access once the permitted time window has passed.
The ecosystem also includes Lisa, our AI assistant, for telephone reminders, alongside alerts to loved ones and remote monitoring for family caregivers and healthcare professionals.
Our key differentiator is an adaptable solution that supports patients as their needs evolve—from simple reminders to controlled dispensing—using the same capsule system.
With a patent application filed and our first pill organizer on the market at €69, Pillqare combines product sales with subscriptions to its alert services.
Our ambition is to help patients live independently at home while reducing the daily burden on the people who care for them.
