L'ObSanté – National Health Observatory
The results of an exploratory study conducted in 2026 on the perceptions of decision-makers in Luxembourg’s hospital sector regarding environmental sustainability will be presented. The study explores their roles and responsibilities, as well as the factors influencing the integration of environmental considerations into decision-making processes.
This study is part of a doctoral research project aimed at integrating hospitals’ environmental footprint into strategic decision-making processes in Luxembourg. In the context of national and European ecological transition objectives, the research seeks to support stakeholders in the hospital sector by developing environmental performance indicators to assess, monitor and manage the environmental impact of healthcare facilities.
