Biography
Stavroula-Georgia Mougiakakou is an Associate Professor at the University of Bern’s Faculty of Medicine and leads the Artificial Intelligence in Health and Nutrition Lab at the ARTORG Center for Biomedical Engineering Research. She holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens. Her research focuses on AI-driven analysis of multimodal health data to support personalized diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment. She has led numerous interdisciplinary R&D projects, contributing to scientific publications, patents, and successful technology transfer.
